Dog Policy

The JB Duke Hotel is pet friendly and welcomes dogs of any breed, shape or size. We know that pets are a member of your family, and we are dedicated to creating a comfortable "home away from home" for them during your stay.

For each reservation, we allow a maximum of two vaccinated, house-broken, leashed dogs over the age of six months old. Our pet fee is $150 for a stay of four or fewer nights and $250 for a stay of more than five nights.

If you are leaving your room for an extended period of time, Guest Services is happy to help arrange a pet sitter (48 hours notice is required), as no dog may be left unsupervised in a guest room.

The JB Duke Hotel reserves the right to remove a dog from the premises if it is determined the animal is causing damage to hotel property, is posing a direct threat to the health or safety of others or is disturbing other hotel guests, and will require the guest to pay for any damage to hotel goods or property caused by their dog. Dog owners are asked to always clean up after their pets.

*Important Note: Service animals are always welcome and do not carry a fee. Animals must be under the control of their owner at all times.
