Unparalleled Service & Attention to Detail

The JB Duke Hotel – named after James Buchanan “J.B.” Duke – was built in 1989 to serve the dining and accommodation needs of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Following extensive renovations, the space was reimagined as a sleek, modern hotel in early 2017, solidifying its reputation as a tranquil retreat for the next generation of Fuqua students, faculty and guests.

Light-filled spaces abound throughout the JB Duke Hotel, offering views of the Duke Forest, landscaped courtyards, terraces and plazas, and connecting guests with the outdoors. Local décor and furnishings showcase North Carolina’s renowned craftsmanship.

The JB Duke Hotel is part of the Duke family of hotels, which also includes the nearby Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club and the Lodge at Duke Medical Center
