Bourbon and Bubbles: Umbrella Dry Bar Event
Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. @ JB Duke Hotel in the Lobby Lounge
The JB Duke Hotel is kicking off its holiday event series by partnering with Umbrella Dry Bar founder and local trailblazer Meg Paradise. During an exclusive tasting experience and interactive class, guests will discover the art of crafting exquisite and festive cocktails without alcohol.
During the class, attendees will savor a curated selection of premium non-alcoholic bourbons and sparkling bubbles, enjoy two full-sized non-alcoholic cocktails, receive expert tips for holiday meal pairings, make nostalgic cocktails that evoke the flavors of the holidays, and bring home recipe cards to help start new traditions with family and friends. Guests who wish to purchase products at the event will receive an exclusive discount.
Meg will conclude the lesson with a Q&A session and time for mingling. Don't miss this unforgettable opportunity to connect, sample delicious beverages, and engage in captivating dialogues.

"Artful Evenings" Artist in Residence series
Tuesday evenings, August 20 to November 19, all artists will begin at 6pm
We have partnered with The Durham Art Guild for “Artful Evenings” Artist in Residence series to take place every Tuesday from August 20 to November 19 at the JB Duke Hotel. This live activation will feature a rotation of six local artists in the Lobby Lounge, where they will work on their art while engaging with guests. We will feature artists with different mediums for variety, and each artist will appear twice, so guests can see the progression of their art over time.
