DURHAM, N.C., August 21, 2018 – JB Duke Hotel, North Carolina’s contemporary lodging destination located on the campus of Duke University, is hosting a pregame for the home opener of the Duke Blue Devil’s football season against the Army Black Knights on Friday, Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. ahead of the 7 p.m. kickoff.

The first celebration in the Tailgate on the Terrace series, Blue Devil fanatics are invited to attend the hotel’s pregame festivities to mingle amongst fellow fans, get excited for the game and savor in the hotel’s mouthwatering food and beverage offerings. The menu selection will feature grilled burgers, brats, a nacho bar, wings, corn dogs, bar service and more for both students and natives alike.

The JB Duke Hotel will also host a watch party to witness the action unfold for the 7 p.m. kickoff. The game will show on large screens in the dining and barista bar areas, with space for friends and family to join the community spirit less than a five minute walk from Wallace Wade Stadium.

Tailgate on the Terrace takes place two hours before kickoff each home game this season, including Saturday matchups against NC Central on Sept. 22, Virginia Tech on Sept. 29, Virginia on Oct. 20, UNC on Nov. 10 and Wake Forest on Nov. 24, pending any schedule changes.

Tailgate on the Terrace is hosted by JB Duke Hotel, a AAA Four Diamond rated hotel located at 230 Science Drive in Durham with complementary parking for guests, and costs $15 per person for admittance.
